Westcott Shared Facilities’ 30 kN electrodynamic shaker is designed to test satellites and aerospace components to the limit. Located in our temperature & humidity controlled ISO 7 cleanroom, we can shake the most sensitive components in a controlled and clean environment.
Equipped with the worlds lightest tri-axial accelerometers, we can measure the response from the smallest components, while shaking CubeSats and 100kg MicroSats, to the most common launch vehicle profiles. Larger masses up to approximately 340kg can be tested on less stringent profiles.
With the combination of shaker and slip table, we can shake in all 3-axis using a single fixture mount.

Our site is open from 7am – 8pm, Monday through Friday, with our friendly staff on hand to support from 8am – 6pm.
The Vibration testing service operates 5 days a week between 9am – 5pm except for public holidays & scheduled maintenance periods
Do you undertake the vibration testing for us, or do we do it ourselves?
Our trained technicians will operate the shaker to the profile(s) provided by you. Customers are welcome to attend the test and observe the tests taking place.
Can you provide the fixture to mount my hardware?
Customers are expected to design and provide the fixture for their test. Westcott Shared Facilities can provide advice on fixture design, and carry out a fixture survey ahead of the test if required.
