Our fused deposition modelling (FDM) printers operate using high-performance engineering materials like polycarbonate and nylon, perfect for demanding applications that require strength & durability. For even tougher applications, PEI & PEEK go a step further, offering high temperature service, with excellent chemical and radiation resistance.
While every individual part is different, we aim to be as transparent as possible with our pricing. Each quote consists of a £15 setup-fee to cover our technician time followed by a material and energy cost, depending on the part mass and time to print.
Material | Material Cost (£/g) | Time Cost (£/min) |
Polycarbonate | £0.15 | £0.02 |
Nylon | £0.25 | £0.02 |
PEI | £0.45 | £0.03 |
PEEK | £1.50 | £0.03 |
Glass fibre PEEK | £1.50 | £0.03 |
Carbon fibre PEEK | £1.50 | £0.03 |
Our stereolithography (SLA) printers operate using a liquid resin, cured by a UV LCD screen, giving excellent tolerances, beyond the capability of FDM technologies. This is perfect for prototyping components which require higher precision. Three different resin options are available depending on your needs.
